5.3 Battery Discharging Function

The IT6412 power supply is provided with battery discharging function. After
selecting the battery discharging mode (Discharge), the "Discharging voltage"
(Vset) and discharging current (Iset) under the discharging mode can be set.
During the discharging, the voltage, current and discharged capacity of the
battery can be observed.

5.4 Battery Characteristic Simulation

The IT6412 power supply supports the battery characteristic simulation function.
The User should firstly edit the battery characteristic data, including voltage,
resistance and capacity. The battery characteristic data can be edited
according to the two methods: panel editing and external data import, i.e.,
select the characteristic data after editing or import the external data to the

Select "Battery" to enter the Battery Simulation Function interface.
Press the right [Channel 1/2] soft key to select configuring channel CH2.
Press the right [Mode] soft key to select test mode.
Use the
key or the Knob to select the "Discharge" (blue font
background). Press the [OK] key for confirmation.
By the
key, move the cursor to the Vset setting place of CH2 and
set the discharging voltage value. Press the [OK] key for confirmation.

key, move the cursor to the Iset setting place of CH2 and
set the maximum discharging current value. Press the [OK] key for
confirmation.
Press the [Config] soft key to enter the Stop Condition Configuration
interface for configuring the stop conditions of battery discharging test.
Press the [Esc] soft key to return to the Test interface.
Press the [Start] soft key to start battery discharging test (CH2 output On).
output status will automatically be OFF. Or, press the [Stop] soft key to
stop test.
