Probable Causes
The PG wiring is broken or discon-
nected.
The PG is wired incorrectly.
Power isn't being supplied to the PG.
The load is too heavy.
The acceleration time and deceleration
time are too short.
The load is locked.
The settings in F1-10 and F1-11 aren't
appropriate.
Motor parameter settings are not cor-
rect.
An "external fault" was input from a
multi-function input terminal.
Protective and Diagnostic Functions
Corrective Actions
Fix the broken/disconnected wir-
ing.
Fix the wiring.
Supply power to the PG properly.
Check for open circuit when using
-
brake (motor).
Reduce the load.
Lengthen the acceleration time
and deceleration time.
Check the mechanical system.
Check the settings in F1-10 and
F1-11.
Check for open circuit when using
-
brake (motor).
• Check the motor parameters.
• Perform Auto-Tuning.
-
Check the Communications
-
Option Card and communications
signals.
• Reset external fault inputs to the
multi-function inputs.
• Remove the cause of the exter-
nal fault.
