Disposal
Physical exertion / weight of the disposal tanks.
Filled disposal tanks are very heavy.
▶ Use suitable lifting and transport equipment.
The operator must check daily whether it is necessary to replace the grease drum
or the coarse materials drum. The operational capability of the system must be che-
cked after the completion of the disposal process (Chap "5.3 Functional test").
Disposal procedure for disposal tanks (carry out once for the grease drum and once
for the coarse materials drum):
▶ Ensure that the sieve screw and skimmer unit are not operating already. (Green
LED on the respective control unit flashing).
▶ Provide an additional empty disposal tank.
▶ Loosen the clamping ring on the disposal tank and take cover away.
▶ Position empty disposal tank.
▶ Lift up the tank cover, incl. clamping ring and capacitive sensor, with one hand.
▶ Tighten clamping ring.
▶ Check whether the coarse filter unit is ready for operation:
▶ Check whether an alarm is present on the control unit.
▶ Check whether there are grease or coarse material deposits at the
emergency overflow, or whether there is wastewater in the emergen-
cy overflow. If this is the case, the sieve screw must be serviced (
Chap."9.4 Coarse filter unit maintenance").
