9.3 Skimmer unit maintenance
▶ Switch off the main switch on the control unit, safeguard it against restart.
▶ Provide an empty, open grease drum.
▶ Remove service access cover on the inlet side. ➊
▶ Lift the skimmer hose out of the guide with a hooked rod. ➋
▶ Loosen the screw connection of the skimmer unit (TX 25).
L Caution: The skimmer hose incl. grease deposits is linked to the skimmer
unit. If the skimmer hose must anyway be replaced, the hose can also be cut
and disposed of directly.
▶ Take out skimmer unit incl. skimmer hose. ➌➍
▶ Wipe the interior of the grease hopper with a moist cloth. ➎
