▶ Set the skimmer unit down on opened grease drum.
▶ Remove grease from the scrapers and skimmer hose with long-handled
brush. ➊
▶ Check the skimmer hose for cracks or damage due to aggressive media and
replace if any are found (at least 1x per year). ➋
▶ Removing the skimmer hose:
▶ Remove the guide screw. (1)
▶ Release the skimmer hose from the drive wheel and scrapers.
L If the skimmer hose cannot be released at this point, the rearmost
scraper can be loosened (loosen screw on the top side of the
cover).
