2.2 General safety notes
WARNING!
Explosive gas mixture can escape from system
tanks.
The gases formed by the separator secrete are potentially
explosive in nature.
▶ Empty system tanks containing separated material regularly!
▶ Avoid naked flames and sparks during the disposal of separator secrete or
disassembly of system components.
▶ Always ensure that there is a reasonable ventilation flow through the area.
WARNING!
Explosion risk due to carry-over from an EX zone
With inadequate aeration and ventilation in closed systems,
the gas released by the separator secrete can dissipate into
downstream systems and can cause an explosive mixture of
gases there.
▶ When connecting a separator system, ensure that the downstream drain-
age system (in particular lifting stations or pumping stations) is properly
aerated and ventilated.
WARNING!
Safety instructions for electrical components
and control unit(s)
Modifications to the control unit may only be carried out by
qualified electricians, with the exception of the following tasks:
▶ Switching on the contactor and adapting the motor protection voltage.
▶ Replacement of fuses (F1) or batteries.

Ensure that all electrical components are disconnected from the
electrical power supply during the work.
