Notice
If the next trigger is triggered before execution of the diagnostics actions is
completed (e.g., save data), the diagnostics actions, e.g., record data, cannot be
executed as parallel trigger evaluation is not possible. The missing of the trigger
and of course the data for this type of event cannot be prevented by the system.
The repeat frequency is generally less than one second, with high interface
demands it may be a few seconds.

3.4.9 Machine trigger for "Time-based trigger"

Description of functions
The time-based trigger permits trigger cycles in intervals between 1 minute and
99,999 days. Various calendar functions are available for defining the trigger time.
To allow time triggers to be more easily coordinated in different intervals, it is no
longer necessary to manually calculate each individual start date and time for the
first trigger. Instead a uniform start date and time can be specified from which the
trigger is activated if the interval is reached. The trigger time calculated from the
start time and interval is immediately displayed for control.
Notice
The time specifications refer only o the local time set on the operator's PC
regardless of whether the clock is correctly set or not.
