Remove stylet from the flue and put it aside in the sterile field if
needed to clear the tip during surgery.
9. Slide the flue onto the nosecone base along the tip.
10. Make sure that the flue is aligned with the pre-aspiration holes at the
distal end of the tip.
NOTE
If the pre-aspiration holes are completely covered, most of the irrigation
fluid may be aspirated back through the handpiece, impairing cavitation,
thus reducing tissue ablation efficacy.
