Communication Board

Communication Board
The communication board is in the Primary Unit with an extension in the Connection Unit.

Primary Unit Communication Board

Open the Primary Unit c over to access the communication board to:
GSM- connect a GSM modem. See Communication Options on page 58.

RS485-1 - connected to the Connection Unit communication board. For connecting
l
multiple inverters over the same bus, connect RS485 wires to the terminal blocks o n
the Connection Unit Communication Board. For more information see, Connection
Unit Communication Board on page 61
RS485-2 - connect a non-SolarEdge device, s uch as a meter or a third party data logger, to the RS485-2
l
connector. Every pair of in and out wires are connected to the same pin.
