Backgauge adjust knob is normally pushed to
the operation side by spring. However, when
knob remains pressed for some reason, micro
switch turns on and the machine changes into
manual mode. Therefore, backgauge does not
operate.
When the adjust knob remains pressed and
does not return, check whether there is prob-
lem with snap ring, spring, and bearing.

When any of the switches is out of order or
remains pressed, the machine determines
setting mode is operated. Therefore, backgauge
does not operate.
When the switch cap locks, return it to normal
condition. When the switch itself is out of
order, replace the board itself. (When replace-
ment of switch itself only is possible, replace
separately.)
