EDID communicates video display information, including native resolution

and vertical interval refresh rate requirements, to the input. The input device
then outputs the optimal video format for the output (such as a display)
based on the provided EDID data, ensuring proper video image quality. This
communication takes place over the Display Data Channel (DDC).
In the EDID Configuration window, the EDID data can come from either an

active output or be set to a specified value.
