6.5.1

Firmware Upload

During a firmware update, the device firmware, the default parameter set, text libraries, HTML files or parts
thereof are updated.
NOTE
Before updating the firmware, Siemens recommends saving the current parameters set as described in
chapter 6.3.1.3.
To update the firmware proceed as follows:

Click the Firmware upload element in the navigation window.
The Firmware upload input/output window opens.

Enter the maintenance password

Click the Enable upload button.
The following window opens:
