Checking the buffer memory

The buffer memories can be used to check for errors that have occurred in FX5-ENET/IP.
EtherNet/IP communication error
If an error occurs during EtherNet/IP communication, check the following buffer memories.
Buffer memory address

Event history function

This function collects errors from FX5-ENET/IP, and keeps them in the SD memory card, and data memory or battery backed
built-in RAM of the CPU module.
The event information collected by the CPU module can be displayed on GX Works3 to check the occurrence history in
chronological order.

The event history function can be set from the event history setting window of GX Works3. For the setting procedure, refer to

Classification
Error
Description
The bit corresponding to the connection where the EtherNet/IP
communication error has occurred will be turned on.
The error code will be saved in the buffer memory corresponding to the
connection where the EtherNet/IP communication error has occurred.
Description
Stores the latest error code.
It is possible to confirm whether the initialization is normally completed.
An error code will be stored when the initialization is abnormally completed.
Description
Error code of each connection (1 to 32) is stored.
Description
An error detected by the self diagnostics in FX5-ENET/IP.
