The ICS drive system

Intelligent control systems (ICS) are capable of reliably controlling and monitoring the
components and parameters of a bed. This microprocessor control can be perfectly
adapted to your applications by the individual adjustment of more than 100 parameters.
The ICS system automatically recognizes which system it is and uses the system-related
parameters stored in advance.
Product features:
-
Soft control
-
Synchronous run
-
Memory function
-
Special functions and sequence control, e.g. maintenance position or parallel ad-
justment of all 4 motors, e.g. for the seat position
-
Modular design, i.e. special functions programmable on customer request
-
Easily programmable, approx. 100 parameters (pre)adjustable
-
Safe shutdown and final position, e.g. protection against collision

The system moves without adequate permission

If the system moves without permission, for example, too early into the incline, the posi-
tion is considered as lost. This can occur, for example, by replacing the drives. An initiali-
zation must be carried out to correct the error. The initialization is carried out with a key
combination using the third pair of keys from above (auto contour). The two keys are
pressed and held until the initialization is complete. After about five seconds, all the drives
will shut down at half the speed. Because of the half speed it is possible to prevent colli-
sions in time.

Resetting the position after triggering the MSE

After the release of the mechanical quick release, the position of the drive no longer cor-
responds to the stored position. For this reason, the drive concerned must be reset to
zero. To do this, press the "down" key of the corresponding drive until the drive has
reached the lower control limit switch. The drive was successfully reset and can now be
moved as usual.

The hand control
The hand control is equipped with a built-in locking device, which allows the caregivers to
lock the hand switch via a key completely or partially for its operation.
The lockable hand control, first-fault protected
The base functions can be controlled safely through the six respectively ten extra-large
keys with finger pressure on the ergonomically designed hand control. The individual keys
