1.

H orizontal X I Gain (Timing) (R 826)

a. Set:
Vertical MODE
CH 1 VOLTS/DIV
b. Connect time mark generator to CH 1 input via 50 f i
BNC coaxial cable and 50 D, BNC termination. Set
generator for 0.1 ms time marks.

zontal graticule line.
ADJUST-HORIZONTAL IX GAIN (R826) for one
time mark per division over the center 8 divisions.
Set X I0 MAG to ON.
Set time mark generator for 10
Position display about center screen.
ADJUST-HORIZONTAL X I0 GAIN (R825) for one
time mark per division over the center 8 divisions.
Set the time mark generator for 0.5 ms time marks.
Position the middle time marker to the center vertical
graticule line using the Horizontal POSITION con­
trol.
Set X I0 MAG to Off.
ADJUST-MAG REG (R809) to position the middle
time marker to the center vertical graticule line.
Set X I0 MAG to On.
CHECK—for no horizontal shift in the time marker.
Repeat parts b through f until no shift is noted.
