1.6.1.6 LACP Provisioning
Please note this section simply shows how to change the LACP key on the SPB rear-ports. This
step is not required and is only added for informational purposes to allow different ISIS L1-
metric's to be used so you can proceed to section 1.4.1.5 if you wish. If you are interested in

changing the default LACP key, please follow the example below. For this example, we will
change the LACP key from the default setting of 4095 to a value of 4094 only for the black rear
ports (ports 34 to 36) between bridges 7001 & 7004 and 7002 & 7003; this is the return path in
the SPB ring we are provisioning.
Change LACP key via black rear port (34-36)
By default, all rear ports have the same LACP key with a value of 4095. On the SPB
return path between bridges 7001 & 7004 and 7002 & 7004, we will change the LACP key
to 4094.
