1.8.3.2 FI Mesh – No SMLT
For non-SMLT applications such as FI Mesh, go to the NIC Teaming tab and select Route based on the
originating virtual port ID under Load Balancing and Link status only via Network Failover Detection.
When you select this setting, traffic from a given virtual Ethernet adapter is consistently send to the same
physical adapter unless there is a failover to another adapter in the NIC team. If there are multiple VM's,
the VMs will be distributed across the multiple NICs, i.e. VM-1 will use vmnic4 while VM-2 will use vmnic5.
