1.8.3.1 SMLT Clustering
For Switch Clustering applications via either an SMLT or SLT link, select Route based on IP hash via the
VMware via the NIC Teaming tab. Select the ESX server, go to the Configuration tab, click on the
Networking option and scroll down to the vSwitch where you enabled NIC teaming and click on
Properties. After the vSwitch interface properties window pop's up as shown below, click on Edit.
