Chapter 3 Setting Up the Video Camera
For details on the power supply of external equipment, refer to the
operation manual of the respective equipment.
When a Betacam SP VTR is attached to the video camera through a CA-
553 Camera Adapter, the video camera is supplied with power from the
VTR via the VTR/CA connector.
When a camera adaptor is attached to the video camera, the video camera
uses one of the following power supplies:
• The power source of equipment connected to the camera adaptor
• The power supplied to the camera adaptor via its AC adaptor
• Batteries inserted into the camera adaptor
