4-8 PAINT Menu
The PAINT menu is used for white and other paint
adjustment items.
By using the SCENE FILE page, you can save five
sets (scene files) of painting data specified for scenes
that are shot.
The items that can be set and their contents are shown
in the table below.
For details on how to make settings, see "4-4-2 Basic Use of
OPERATION Menu" on page 4-10.

Chapter 4 Adjustments and Settings for Recording
Activating the PAINT menu

Set the VF DISP switch from OFF to MENU while
holding down the MENU SEL control/button.
The TOP menu appears.

Turn the MENU SEL control/button to move the m
cursor to PAINT.

Press the MENU SEL control/button.
The PAINT menu appears.

–99 to 99 ([00])
Adjusts the R, G, B gain level.
–99 to 99 ([00])
Adjusts the R, G, B master black level.
–99 to 99 ([00])
Adjusts the R, G, B flare level.
Adjusts the R, G, B master gamma correction curve.
[ON], OFF
Turns the flare correction circuit on and off.
1, 2, [OFF]
Selects the test signal.
1: outputs the sawtooth waveform test signal
2: outputs 3-step waveform test signal
OFF: no test signal is output
Press the MENU SEL
Sets all settings on the VIDEO LEVEL page to 0.

Turns the function on and off to improve resolution by
adding the detail signal.

Adjusts the master level for the detail signal.

Adjusts the clipping level against the maximum detail level.
–99 to 99 ([00])
Adjusts the level at which the detail signal is crispened.
–99 to 99 ([00])
Adjusts the level to control the detail signal used at lower
signal level.
[ON], OFF
Turns the level depend function on and off.
1, 2, [OFF]
Selects the test signal.

OFF: no test signal is output
Press the MENU SEL
Sets all settings on the DETAIL 1 page to 0.
