Wide range of selectable video amplifier
gain values
Nine gain values ranging from –3 dB to +30 dB can be
selected for the video amplifier. Even with a high gain
value, pictures with little noise can be obtained due to
the video camera's high signal-to-noise ratio.
EVS and Super-EVS
1)
An EVS
and Super-EVS (only when the optional
OHB-550/550P/550WS/550WSP is attached)
incorporating newly developed CCD-drive technology
achieves a vertical resolution of 450 TV lines while
suppressing line flicker.
Wide range of detail control functions
Skin-tone detail function
Through the generation of detail gate signals
predominantly for skin hue and color component, the
amount of detail can be controlled (through emphasis
or suppression) for specific hue/color areas within the
picture.
The camera also comes with a skin detail auto-hue
function that automatically generates gate signals for
the hue of skin detail. (This function currently does not
operate.)
Detail boost frequency control
By adjusting a boost frequency within a range of 3.6 to
6.6 MHz, you can control detail width to suit the
subject to obtain subtle video expression.
Detail mix ratio control (before/after γ )
By controlling the amount of detail signal mixed with
the video signal before and after gamma processing,
you can emphasize or suppress detail in subject areas
that are high in video level.
H/V ratio control
You can control the ratio between H-detail and V-
detail.
White/black limitter
You can make individual adjustments of detail gain for
both white and black.
