Vertical smear
Aliasing
To keep the video camera in good operating condition, take the following
precautions:
Do not subject the video camera to strong shocks or vibrations
This may damage the exterior of the video camera as well as its internal
circuits.
After use
Turn off the equipment connected to the video camera
Where to store the video camera
On a flat surface in an air-conditioned place.
Do not expose the video camera to:
• extreme temperatures
• excessive moisture
• excessive vibrations
• strong magnetic fields
• direct sunlight or heaters for long periods
Vertical smear consists of vertical banding may appear an extremely bright
object during shooting. This is likely to occur at faster electronic shutter
speeds.
Aliasing is the jagged appearance that strips or lines assume during
shooting.
