4-4 OPERATION Menu Display on the Viewfinder Screen
REFERENCE menu: For initial customization of
reference settings to suit user's requirements.
TRIMMING menu: For adjustments after changing
of parts.
SYSTEM CONFIG menu: For use by service
personnel.
4-4-2 Basic Use of OPERATION

Change the VF DISP switch from OFF to MENU.
The OPERATION menu is displayed.

Turn the MENU SEL control/button to display the
page that you want.

Press the MENU SEL control/button.
The settings of each item on the selected page are
displayed and the m cursor points to the currently
selected item.

Turn the MENU SEL control/button to move the m
cursor to the item to be set.

Press the MENU SEL control/button.
The m cursor changes to a flashing ? mark.
Note
The ? mark changes to the following letter in
menus other than OPERATION menu. You can
identify which menu you are in.
PAINT menu: P
MAINTENANCE menu: M
REFERENCE menu: R
TRIMING menu: T
SYSTEM CONFIG menu: S

Turn the MENU SEL control/button to the value to
be set.
You can change the values quickly by turning the
MENU SEL control/button fast. You can make
very fine adjustments by turning the control
slowly.
To cancel the changed number
Before pressing the MENU SEL control/button,
press the CANCEL button.
The original setting is restored.
The ON/OFF settings are not canceled.
To cancel the setting operation
Set the VF DISP switch to OFF.
The menu display disappears.
When you set the VF DISP switch to MENU
again, the previous display reappears and the
setting operation can be continued.

Press the MENU SEL control/button.
The ? mark changes to the m cursor and the setting
is entered.

To set another item on the same page, repeat steps
4 to 7.

To move to another page, press the CANCEL
button repeatedly to display the page scroll bar on
the upper-right corner of the screen then turn the
MENU SEL control/button.
The OPERATION menu display returns to the
status in step 1.
To cancel the menu operation
Set the VF DISP switch to OFF.
