Lights when a green tally control signal is sent from
the camera control unit.

Lights during recording and when a green tally control
signal is received from the camera control unit. Also
indicates warnings by flashing.
For details, see "6-1 Operation Warnings" on page 6-1.
Note
When the REC indicator starts to light, it brightly
lights memontarily.
This is to call your attention and not a problem.

Starts to flash when the voltage of the battery
connected to the video camera has fallen to a low
level. Stays on for a few minutes when the battery is
exhausted.
To prevent any interruption during operation, change
the battery as soon as it gets low.
Indicators in the viewfinder indicate the status of the video camera and the
results of adjustments. These indicators are arranged along the top and
bottom edges of the viewfinder.

Lights when the video camera is used under one or
more of the following conditions:
• The gain is set to a value other than 0 dB.
• The SHUTTER selector is at ON.
• The WHITE BAL selector is at PRST.
• The lens extender is in use.
• The FILTER selector setting is other than 1B.
Note
When you use the OHB-550WS/550WSP or OHB-
450/450P, the
indicator lights if the FILTER
selector setting is other than 1.
