4-7 Setup by OPERATION Menu

4-7-7 Selecting Functions

The STAND ALONE page of the OPERATION menu
is usually used when an CCU is not connected. This
page allows you to select the following functions as
necessary.

Set the VF DISP switch to MENU.

Turn the MENU SEL control/button to display the
STAND ALONE page, then press the MENU SEL
control/button.
H PHASE: Adjusts the H-phase when the video
camera is used in the genlock mode.
SC PHASE: Adjusts the sub-carrier of the video
camera in the genlock mode.
CABLE COMP: Turns on and off of the
correction circuit for the genlock signal in the
genlock mode.
SNG BARS: Outputs the SNG color bar when it is
ON. SMPTE color bar (NTSC) or EBU color
bar (PAL) is output when it is OFF.
MASTER BLACK: Adjusts the master black
level.
IRIS OVERRIDE: Turns on and off for the auto-
iris override function.
CF PULSE: Turns on and off for the color frame
pulse signal supplied for the VTR.
SKIN DETAIL: Turns on and off the function to
automatically adjust the detail level in subjects
for particular hues and chroma.
AUTO HUE DETECT: This function does not
currently operate.

Turn the MENU SEL control/button to move the m
cursor to item that you want to change, then press
the MENU SEL control/button.
The m cursor changes to a ? mark.

Turn the MENU SEL control/button to the setting
mode that you want, then press the MENU SEL
control/button.
The ? mark changes back to the m cursor and the
setting is entered.

To end the menu operation, set the VF DISP
switch to ON.
The OPERATION menu disappears and the
current settings appear on the top and bottom edge
of the viewfinder screen.
