4-6 Status Display on the Viewfinder Screen
4-6 Setup by OPERATION Menu
The viewfinder screen does not only display the video
picture, it also displays characters and messages
indicating the video camera settings and operation
status, as well as a center marker and safety zone
marker.
When the VF DISP switch is set to ON, items set to
ON by related switches and the VF DISPLAY page of
the OPERATION menu appear along the top and
bottom of the screen. Messages that give details of
settings and adjustment progress/results can also be
made to appear for about three seconds when settings
are changed, during an adjustment, or after an
adjustment.

Appears when a lens extender is used.

Indicates the approximate position of the variator
the zoom lens, between wide angle (W) and telephoto
(T). The percentage of the distance between the
telephoto (T) and the variator is displayed.

Appears when a malfunction has been detected in the
camera.

A group of lenses that are moved to adjust the focal
distance.
3) Iris setting indication
Appears only when a lens that has an iris opening
display function is used.
