3-7 Adjusting the Viewfinder
Preventing the viewfinder from hitting
your leg
To prevent the viewfinder from hitting your leg as you
walk while carrying the video camera by the grip, use
the BKW-401 Viewfinder Rotation Bracket (not
supplied) to turn the viewfinder upward as illustrated
below.
Note
Before using the BKW-401 Viewfinder Rotation
Bracket turn the viewfinder upward (when a Betacam
SP VTR is not attached to the video camera), move
and secure the viewfinder a little forward from its
backmost position; if you don't, the arm of the bracket
may hit the grip on the video camera.

Adjusting the viewfinder focus
To adjust the viewfinder focus for your particular
eyesight, turn the diopter adjustment ring until the
image on the viewfinder screen is sharp.
