Adjust the black balance and the white balance.
If the black balance and white balance settings are already
in memory:
Set the the WHITE BAL selector to A or B.
If the black balance and white balance settings are not
already in memory, and there is not enough time to adjust
the white balance:
Set the AUTO W/B BAL switch to BLK for the black balance, and set
the WHITE BAL selector to PRST.

page 4-1.

Point the camera at the subject and adjust the focus and zoom.

Set the shutter speed and mode as necessary.
For details, see "4-2 Setting the Electronic Shutter" on page 4-6.

Press the VTR START button on the video camera or the VTR button
on the lens to start recording when the VTR is attached.
During recording, the TALLY lamp (red) in the viewfinder will light.
If any indication flashes in the viewfinder, see "6-1 Operation Warning
page 6-1.

To stop recording, press the VTR START button or the VTR button on
the lens again.
The VTR changes to standby and the TALLY lamp (red) in the
viewfinder goes off.
