4. Refer to Figure 19, and ALIGN the operator
mounting template to the centerline of the butt
hinge, center pivot, or offset pivot as applicable.
5. Using a center punch, MARK the operator
mounting bracket hole locations.
6. Using a center punch, MARK the door shoe
mounting hole locations.

To ensure proper installation, the operator must be
fastened with at least four fasteners. For heavier doors
more fasteners are recommended.
For light duty or hollow-core doors with insufficient top
rail blocking, through bolts or sex nut and bolts are
required to securely attached the operator mounting
bracket.
