TRACE Show the combined trace output
TRIB CALL STATS Show call stats for voice tribs
TTYCNC Set TTY output to old CNC mode
TTYSCRIPT Set TTY output to script mode
TTY MODE Report current TTY output mode
UPGRADE Vxx_yy_zz z.z.z.z - upgrade sw to the specified version via Vocality VNUT TFTP server
VERSION Report software version
Type quit then press <Enter> to leave debug mode and return to the Main menu.
CAUTION: There are other valid commands, which do not appear in this list
because they could permanently damage your unit if used inappropriately. Other
commands should only be used at the request of Vocality support engineers.

Managing your unit from Linux

You may wish to manage your Vocality devices from a Linux-based PC or laptop. Whilst
this is possible there are two potential issues:
Vocality tools, such as VNUT are only available for Windows, so an alternative

must be used;
Secondly, although Linux does provide standard applications such as Telnet, their

behaviour can differ slightly when compared to the equivalent Windows versions.
This section will explain how you can use standard Linux applications to manage the
Vocality products.
5.8.1

Pre-requisites

It is assumed you have a working knowledge of Linux, including the use of configuration
files.
You are also assumed to have a good understanding of the Vocality product range,
including how to access and use the debug console.
