When a menu has been edited, the changes are stored by entering <Esc>, which
prompts you with this message:

Responding with a <Y> will update the non-volatile memory. You can abandon the
changes by entering <N> instead.
If at any time you need to clear all configuration settings and start again from factory
defaults, return to the Banner page (see section 4.2.1 User interface) by entering
<CTRL><E>, then enter <CTRL>rrr, to which the unit will prompt:
Set Factory Defaults and Reboot?
To proceed, enter <Y>. Any other key will abort.
CAUTION: Factory Default and Reboot clears all the information in the numbered

Password Protection

To prevent unauthorised access to the menus, the unit has three access levels:
Read-only;
Read/Write; and
Administrator.
By default there is one administrator account with the username 'Vocality', for which the
password is 'Vocal1ty'. You will be prompted for this username and password before
you are allowed to access the unit, however you log in.
You can alter passwords through the System Options > Users menu.
If accounts are disabled completely, all access will be at Administrator level.
Valid for V08_08.02 or V08_48.02
