8.1 Routine Maintenance
To ensure that the SUN2000 can operate properly for a long term, you are advised to perform
routine maintenance on it as described in this chapter.

Before cleaning the system and maintaining the cable connections and grounding
reliability, power off the system (see
that the two DC switches on the SUN2000 are OFF.
If you need to open the maintenance compartment door on rainy or snowy days, take
protective measures to prevent rain and snow entering the maintenance compartment. If it
is impossible to take protective measures, do not open the maintenance compartment door
on rainy or snowy days.

Periodically check that the heat sinks
are free from obstacles or dust.

6.3 Powering Off the System
Check that the SUN2000 is not
damaged or deformed.
Check that the running sound of the
SUN2000 is normal.
When the SUN2000 is running,
check that all SUN2000 parameters
are correctly set.
Check that cables are securely
connected.
Check that cables are intact, in
particular, the parts touching the
metallic surface are not scratched.
