Product Description
PCIe Add-in Fabric Carrier Kit
This kit allows external access to the Host Fabric Interface (HFI) of
fabric supported processors. The connection to the external access is
done through two QSFP+28 style connections.
The IFT Carrier add-in card can only be supported when installed to a
PCIe add-in card slot on Riser 2. No PCIe related signals are passed
through; the slot is only being used for mechanical mounting along
with drawing power and SMBus signals.
Kit includes:
(1) IFT Carrier PCIe Add-in Board
(1) 235mm cable (iPN H79267-xxx), 1 port, PCIe add-in card to Fabric
Processor #1
(1) 430mm 2x12 HFI Sideband Y Cable, Single Omni-Path Sideband
IFT Carrier to dual Omni-Path CPU connectors (PCIe add-in card
to server board CPU HFI Sideband connectors)
(1) Fabric Processor Clip
Dual Fabric Processor Support:
Dual Fabric processor configurations require the following additional
accessory kits to be ordered seperately:
• Cable kit AXXCBL235IFPR1 – 235mm cable (iPN H79272-xxx),
PCIe Add-in card to Fabric Processor #2
• Fabric Processor Clip Kit FXXCPUCLIPF – Used to attach fabric
enabled processor to processor heat sink
Important: This product is only compatible with external Omni-Path
passive cables (copper) and active cables (optical) up to class 3.
