Special Characteristic of the DQ Test
During the DQ test, the S5-95F briefly resets the outputs to be tested. If you wish to call up the DQ
test by means of function block FB 252, then please refer to section 4.3.

Depassivation Block
Passivation of the I/Os can have the following causes:
Defective sensors
Defective or wrong cabling
Defective modules
If you are able to remedy errors in the RUN mode, then you can use function block FB255 to re-
integrate the passivated I/Os into the control process.
During depassivation, the S5-95F tests all I/Os. That is why depassivation must be carried out in a
safe system status.
