13.4.4 Response Time During SINEC L1 Traffic
The response time during SINEC L1 traffic is the time from the input signal change in the
transmitting system to the output signal change in the receiving system.
The response time is a combination of three time periods:
•
Processing time in the transmitter (time between an input signal change and updating of the
SINEC DB, including the Send request in the User Valid Byte)
•
SINEC L1 safety time for Receive
•
Processing time in the receiver (time between evaluation of the SINEC L1 DB, including the
Receive request in the User Valid Byte, and the output signal change).
