Inserting the Battery into the Probe

To insert a charged battery pack into a probe:
1.
Place the metal contact side facing into the well on the probe with the label facing down
and the metal contacts towards the back of the probe.
CAUTION: The battery pack is keyed to fit into the probe in the proper orientation. Do not
use excessive force in inserting the pack into the probe. Make sure that you have lined it
up properly when inserting.
CAUTION: Use only your fingers to insert and remove the battery pack from either the
probe or the charging ports. Do not use tools. Use of tools may damage the battery pack

Monitoring the Battery Charge Level while Scanning

During live scanning, monitor the charge level status of the probe battery by observing the
probe battery ("P") symbol and the system console battery ("S") on the screen.
The green portion of the battery symbol represents the estimated charge remaining. Typically,
a fully-charged probe battery will provide approximately one hour of scanning.
NOTE: The estimated charge remaining is an approximation, and numerous factors,
such as scanning mode and battery age can affect its accuracy.
When the probe battery charge level goes below 20%, the light on the probe changes to
amber.
