Use the software to generate slices that run parallel to the grid.
The lesion can be localized.

Determine the coordinates

Draw a ROI around the lesion and transfer it to all other slice
images.

Scroll through the slab to the image which best shows the grid
opening of the height adjustable grid.

Measure the distance between the ROI in the image with grid and
the ROI on the image of the lesion to determine the puncture
depth.

Select the grid opening in accordance with the ROI drawn.

Position a needle block in the grid opening. Ensure that the
diameter of the openings in the needle block corresponds to the
thickness of the introducer sheath/stylet combination used.

Select the opening in the needle block that best corresponds to the
ROI in the grid. Use the marker position for orientation.

Inserting the introducer sheath/stylet

Move the introducer sheath/stylet forward in the needle block by
the puncture depth calculated. Take into account the needle guide
length of the needle block (20 mm).

Perform wire localization or remove tissue.
