Example:
Programmed basic dosing amount of 2.0 litres, water temperature at
28 °C, temperature compensation set to "normal"
Refresh dosing amount = 2.0 litres x factor of 0.2 = 0.4 litres
If the temperature compensation setting is changed to "high":
Refresh dosing amount = 2.0 litres x factor of 0.4 = 0.8 litres
The 1st refresh dosing is performed two days after the programmed
dosing weekday at 8:00 a.m.
The 2nd refresh dosing is performed four days after the programmed
dosing weekday at 4:00 p.m.
If there is no flow signal (e.g. due to circulation being turned off) or if
there is an alarm, then the refresh dosing will be delayed. They will be
performed at the earliest possible point in time.
An refresh dosing is discarded at the next main dosing day, if it could
not be performed up until that point.
Example:
If the dosing day is set to "Friday," dosing times are as follows
 Main dosing, Friday at midnight
 1st refresh dosing, Sunday at 8:00 a.m.
 2nd refresh dosing, Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.

Progression of effective Bayrosoft
The following two figures schematically show the progression of the
effective Bayrosoft
®
concentration in the water over the course of a
week.
In the first example, the average water temperature is 24 °C. Thus, the
two refresh dosings are omitted.
In the second example, the water temperature is 28 °C. Therefore the
two refresh dosings provide an intermediate increase in the effective
Bayrosoft
®
concentration in the water.
