9. BAL (Balance) Knob
Set the stereo position of the channel in the main MASTER bus mix by
dragging the BAL knob up or down as desired.
10. Channel Fader
The position of the channel fader sets the level of signal coming out of
the channel. Moving the onscreen fader is the same as moving the
channel's physical fader on the VS-2400CD.
11. MONO Switch
Click the MONO switch to collapse the corresponding effect
processor's stereo output to a mono signal.

Multi-Channel View V.FADER Channels

In V.FADER mode, each channel strip's channel fader can transmit
MIDI Control Change values on the corresponding MIDI channel. The
V.FADER feature is described on Page 286.
1. Channel Fader Control Change Selector
The channel fader Control Change selector shows the MIDI Control
Change whose values are transmitted from the VS-2400CD when the
channel's fader is moved. Click the selector and drag up or down to
select a different Control Change.
2. Channel Fader
Drag the onscreen fader up or down—or move the corresponding physical fader on the
VS-2400CD—to transmit the selected Control Change value.

Multi-Channel View Fader Group Channels

In the multi-channel view, you can see the channel currently
assigned to any fader group and easily add or remove channels
from a fader group. You can also mute, solo and Automix them.
To assign a channel to a fader group:
1. Channel Group Assignment Switches
To assign an track, input or FX return channel to a fader group,
click the channel's switch—so it lights—in the desired group's
channel strip. To remove the channel from the group, click the
switch again.
2. MUTE (M) Button
To mute the fader group, click this button so it's
lit. To un-mute the group, click the button again.
