The parameters described in this section can be configured either with the setup program or
on the multifunction panel.
6.1

Digital selector

The digital selector contains all digital signals that are available in the analog input module 4-
channel to configure the following functions.
Alarm suppression (see Chapter 6.2.1 "Alarms", page 41)
Signal suppression (see Chapter 6.3 "Digital input", page 45)
The following table lists all digital signals. The entry in the "Type" column indicates the source
of the signal:
Internal: Internal signal of the analog input module 4-channel (including the signal of the dig-
ital input)
The signal is also transmitted to the base unit via the system bus, to allow it to be used by
other modules.
External: External input (NV_...) that must be linked in the NV connecting list to a signal
from another module (see Chapter 6.4 "NV connecting list", page 47).
The signal name "NV_..." indicates the intended use; in principle, the signal can also be
used for other purposes.
