Using the internal web pages

7.7.3. Live View Encoder

The C-54 E can stream MJPEG over UDP and HTTP.
To transport MJPEG over HTTP and/or to use the Live View previews in the web pages,
enable the Live View Encoder and configure its settings.
To enable and configure UDP/MJPEG streaming, go to the Encoder 1/2 tab, select MJPEG
encoding mode and configure settings.

All encoders can be enabled and configured separately.
- Constant quality
Keeps image quality about constant as long as
the maximum bit rate is not exceeded. When
that happens, frames are skipped.
- Constant bit rate
Keeps network load about constant.
Set sensible combinations of mode, resolution, frame rate, and
maximum bit rate. It is advised to limit MJPEG encoding to 5 fps
when the C-54 E is also handling MPEG-2/4 encoding with 1xD1 and
1xCIF or 2CIF at full frame rate.
Shows the network load with the current settings.
Reflects the amount of compression. For instance, 80% picture
quality equals 20% compression. This parameter can be used to fine-
tune picture quality for a given combination of settings.
Click to see live images and the effect of your settings. The preview
is generated by the Live View Encoder.
Hiding the preview may improve web page responsiveness.
