This section explains the operating procedure up to the point the MELSECNET/H
board is operated.

6.1 Procedure Up to the Point of Operation

An outline of the procedure up to the point of MELSECNET/H board operation is
explained below.

Install the software package on a personal computer.

Install the board to a slot on the personal computer.
For the board with external power supply function, wire the
external power supply cable.
□
Set the channel No. and confirm it with the utility.
□
Test the hardware of the installed board.
□
Wire the network cables for the installed board.
□
Set the parameters and confirm them with the utility.
□
Test the cable connection and data link on the network.
□
Execute a user program or utility.
