Press the CO D E+ 4 (COPY) keys.
The display shows the same filename in the entry area where you define a
new filename and the name of the destination storage location. The
display appears like this:

Press the SPACEBAR to select the destination storage location.
The storage location name MEMORY or DISK appears alternately:
Make sure that the destination disk is inserted in the drive. If not, insert a
disk in the drive.
Or you may skip this step.

Type a new filename.
Define a unique filename with up to 8 characters.
Or you may skip this step if you want to copy the file onto the different
storage location under the same filename.

The typewriter starts copying the file. When finished with copying, the
display shows the file list with the cursor located on the original
filename.

Renaming Files

You can change the name of the existing file.
Follow these steps:

Select the storage location to show the file list where you rename files
with the CODE + 9 (DISK) keys or CODE +
Skip this step if the typewriter does not have the optional floppy disk
drive.

Move the cursor to select the file to be renamed.
