Find and Correct

The CODE + FIND keys activate the find and correct function in the WP
TEXT EDIT and PHRASE EDIT modes. The typewriter can look up all the
typed words in the main and supplemental dictionaries through batch
processing. Every time the typewriter suspects the spelling of word, it beeps,
suspends the finding operation, and enters the Corrector Mode. When you are
finished with the Corrector Mode, the typewriter automatically restarts the
find and correct function. This function continues until you reach the end of
text. Use this function to check spellings of all words at a time.
REM EM BER...The find and correct function can be activated in the WP
TEXT EDIT and PHRASE EDIT modes.

The quik brown fox jumps over the sleeping girl and
takesout an apple from her bascket.

Open a new text file in the WP mode for practice.
Type the following text intentionally including misspellings.
When finished with typing the text, move the cursor to the beginning of
the text.
To check all the text you typed at a time, be sure to move the cursor to the
beginning of the text. The find and correct function starts at the current
cursor position.
The « — (Express Backspace) key quickly moves the cursor to the
beginning of the text in the WP TEXT EDIT mode.
Press the CODE + FIND keys to activate the find and correct function.
The typewriter starts finding any misspelling or suspected word.
When the typewriter finds the first misspelled word "quik", it beeps and
automatically enters the Corrector Mode.
