refer to the other chapter "Printing."

Disk Menu or Memory Menu

If your typewriter does not have the optional floppy disk drive, the file storage
location is only the internal memory. You always manage files in the internal
memory. You cannot switch the storage location nor execute the disk copy
function.
If your typewriter has the optional floppy disk drive, you need to select the
storage location w|,iere you save and manage files.
If you press the CODE + 9 (DISK) keys, the floppy disk drive is selected as
the storage location and the display shows the file list of the disk you insert in
the drive. If you press the CODE + 0 (MEMORY) keys, the internal memory
is selected as the storage location and the display shows the file list of the
internal memory.
Before you open a new file, you must select the storage location, internal
memory or floppy disk drive. Other keys such as CODE + 2 (DELETE),
CODE + 6 (RENAME), CODE + 4 (COPY), CODE + 7 (D COPY), CODE +
8 (INIT), CODE + 5 (PRIN T) work on the files stored on the selected
storage location.

Copying Files

You can copy the existing file onto the different storage location or the same
storage location under the different filename. Also you can copy it onto the
different storage location, from the internal memory to the disk or vice versa,
under the same filename.
Follow these steps:
[1]
Select the storage location to show the file list from which you copy
files with the CODE + 9 (DISK) keys or CODE + 0 (M EM ORY) keys.
Skip this step if the typewriter does not have the optional floppy disk
drive.
