Dictionary Spell

The CODE + D SPL keys activate the dictionary spell function in all the WP
TEXT EDIT, TYPE, PHRASE EDIT, and MAIL MERGE modes. You can type
a single word in the entry area and activate the typewriter to look up the word
in the main and supplemental dictionaries. When the typewriter suspects the
spelling o f the entry word, it beeps and suggests the alternate words. You can
select the correct word and add it into the text of any mode. Use this function
to make sure of the spelling of a word you are going to type.
REM EM BER...The dictionary spell function can be activated in all the WP
TEXT EDIT, TYPE, PHRASE EDIT, and MAIL MERGE modes.__________
Follow these steps:
[1] Open a new text file in the WP mode for practice.
[2] Type the following text.
Use the extension cable to connect the devices.
Supposing you are going to type the text "Pay attention to secure
connection" but you ate confused with the spellings "attention" and
"attension". The dictionary spell function helps you to find the correct
spelling.
[3] Press the COD E + D SPL keys to activate the dictionary spell function.
The display looks like this:
4 TYPE WORD(S) TO BE CHECKED AND PRESS '
CHECK WORD
[4] Type the suspected word "attension" in the entry area that appears on the
lower line of the display.
Use the K— I (Backspace), CORRECTION, CODE + CORRECTION,
or CODE + W OUT (W ord O ut) keys to correct the word in the entry
area.
