Change the line format settings.
Set the right and left margins, flush left tab or decimal tab stops, top
margin, page end, hot zone, line spacing, character pitch. If the optional
cut-sheet feeder CF-500 is installed, select the paper tray and paper size.
When you change the settings, they are automatically replaced with the
last settings in the selected line format.
The default settings for all line format memories (#0 - #9) are listed
below. Refer to the section"Backup" in the Appendixes.

Repeat the previous steps 3 and 4 if necessary to store more line formats.
Up to 10 different sets of line format settings can be stored.
When you are finished with setting the line fonnat memories in the TYPE
mode, you can use the line format memories in the TYPE mode.

Press the FORMAT key several times to select the line format memory
that meets a particular typing job.
The line format number (#0 - #9) changes on the message lamp. Press the
FORMAT key until the desired number comes on the message lamp.
REMEMBER.,.We recommend that you use the format memory #1 for
standard typing in the TYPE mode when you don't need to use the other stored
line format.

Start typing with the selected line format memory.
Remember, whenever you change your margins, tabs, etc., you are changing
the settings stored in whatever number is indicated on the message lamp.
