Getting More out of Your

Editing Your Text File

Once you create and save new text file in the WP mode, you can edit it later.
The text can be copied or moved to other places, or it can be deleted. The part of
the text can be replaced with the other one.

Copying and Moving the Text

You can copy or move parts of the text in the WP mode. If the text is copied to
the other position, the copied text remains at the original position. If the text
is moved to the other position, the text is copied and removed from the original
position. Before you begin the following steps, open it new text file or existing
text file in the WP mode.

Within the File

Follow these steps to copy or move it part of the text within the same file:

Move the cursor to the beginning of the text to be copied or moved.

Press the CODE + 4 (COPY) or CODE + 3 (MOVE) keys.
The typewriter asks you to determine the range of text to be copied or
moved.

Move the cursor to the position just after the end of the text to be copied
or moved.
You can use the SEARCH, CODE + E SRCH (Function Search), or
STEP key to move the cursor.

going to copy or move the text.

If you press the ESC key before proceeding to the next step, the copy or
move function is canceled.
