Transmit Check Digit

UPC-A is 13 digits in length with the last one as its check digit used to verify the integrity of the data. By default, the
scanner transmits UPC-A check digit.

Transmit Preamble Character
Preamble characters (Country Code and System Character) can be transmitted as part of a UPC-A barcode. Select one of
the following options for transmitting UPC-A preamble to the host device: transmit system character only, transmit system
character and country code ("0" for USA), or transmit no preamble. By default, the scanner transmits system character.
