PostBase mailing system with Dynamic Scale
Problem
Franking imprint is lopsided.

Possible cause and remedy
Letters are not running sufficiently tightly along
the letter running edge through the mailing
system.
Set the adjustment wheel to a higher setting
(see page 32).
Letters are running lopsided through the
mailing system.
Use the letter guide on the Ramp plus
(see page 37).
Letters are not running sufficiently tightly along
the letter running edge through the mailing
system.
Set the adjustment wheel to a higher setting
(see page 32).
Set the adjustment wheel to 1 or lower
(see page 32).
Certain letter types (e.g. thin ISO C4 letters /
US9x12) may cause problems with separation.
In such cases, lay the stack 'staggered' in the
running direction of the letters (see page 37).
Weighing function and format detection are
turned off.
To activate the 'dynamic weighing' function
please read chapter 4.3.
Scale is defective.
If you work without a scale, you will need to
manually enter the weight in the product
calculation menu.
